                               RESOLUTION NO. 20905
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF
                  THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE AND
                  THE CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO ATTEST AN
                  AGREEMENT WITH ERLANGER MEDICAL CENTER FOR THE
                  INSTALLATION OF PEDESTRIAN FLASHERS ON HAMPTON
                  STREET, BLACKFORD STREET AND CENTRAL AVENUE.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Agreement with 

       Erlanger Medical Center whereby the City of Chattanooga is to
       design and install pedestrian flashers on Hampton Street,
       Blackford Street and Central Avenue, and Erlanger Medical Center
       is to reimburse the City for cost of the traffic signs, signals,
       poles and associated equipment within thirty (30) days which 
total
       cost is not to exceed $10,883.22.  After the installation, the
       City will maintain the pedestrian flashers.
